List of the Airports in Nigeria

As of December 2025, Nigeria boasts a robust aviation network with approximately 32 airports, including international gateways, domestic hubs, and smaller facilities. The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) manages 26 of these, while others are state-owned, private, or military-operated. Additionally, there are numerous airstrips and heliports across the country, often used by oil companies or the military.

This network plays a vital role in connecting Nigeria's diverse regions, supporting economic growth, tourism, and international trade. The five functional international airports serve as primary entry points for global travelers, while domestic airports facilitate internal mobility with airlines like Air Peace, Arik Air, and United Nigeria Airlines.
