In a tragic turn of events today, Air India Flight AI171, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner flying from Ahmedabad to London, crashed shortly after takeoff near the Meghani area of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The plane took off at 1:38 PM and crashed at 1:40 PM. There were 242 passengers onboard, including the captain, first officer, and ten cabin crew.


According to preliminary reports, the Aircraft experienced an unspecified technical failure shortly after takeoff from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport.
